It's the most authoritative and complete rendering of the Colonies that's ever been made. This richly detailed map from QMx features a wealth of information on each colony – everything from population stats and local attractions to pyramid team names and brief histories.

One year in the making, the Map of the 12 Colonies of Kobol was developed in collaboration with Battlestar Galactica Co-Executive Producer (and Executive Producer of Caprica) Jane Espenson, whose signature appears on the map.

NASA scientist Dr. Kevin R. Grazier, who was science adviser on Battlestar Galactica and co-author of The Science of Battlestar Galactica, served as science adviser in the making of this map.

Hollywood graphic designer Geoffrey Mandel created the map from scratch, making countless revisions as the technical data underwent painstaking scrutiny. The full-color map measures 26" x 39" and is printed on 100-pound, satin-finish paper. Suitable for framing and for hours of enjoyment – especially if you like gazing at heavenly bodies in their relative orbits.

Simply awesome! Extremely high level detail and care were put into this. Lots of fun "facts" about the Galactica universe in this. Looks great framed. Now I want the Firefly map if it is anything at all like this one. Highly recommended

... okay, granted, that would either be Kobol or the problems with beginning in cyclical timelines, but I digress... Short version, this is a FANTASTIC work of art. Beautifully done, heavy cardstock, and the snippits of informations, (for example, the capitals of each colonies), are a very nice touch. Plus, for the first time, you can actually see what the heck Aerilon etc looks like. A great piece worthy of taking up a chunk of your wall, (though I might advise lamination or framing first)

This poster now proudly hangs mounted and framed in my living room opposite the Serenity "Map of the Verse". This poster is fantastic! It brilliantly fuses information with beautiful design, serving as an excellent piece of decor. Excellent job by the artist and design team!

I love this poster, it arrived in excellent condition and is a good high quality color and paper. The only thing odd is the size: 26" x 38.75" which is a nice, large size but not compatible with the standard 24" x 36" pre-fab poster frames.
